Al Khawarizmi Institute has been licensed from the United Kingdom since late 2021 to teach self-development courses in new-generation Neuro-Linguistic Programming — IUNLP. The courses are open to all ages, and to parents as much as to professionals, because the techniques apply as directly at home as they do at work.
IUNLP practitioner course
A system of more than 55 practical techniques, certified by the British Board of NLP in London. The course works through the areas people actually get stuck on:
- Trauma and phobias
- Limiting beliefs — the assumptions that quietly set your ceiling
- Parenting, with strategies you can use the same evening
- Understanding others and building empathy
- Resolving emotional challenges and recovering from abuse
The programme includes live sessions with real clients before graduation, so you leave having practised on real situations, not case studies.
Body language course
Non-verbal communication decides a great deal of how you are read before you finish your first sentence. This course is built for professionals, parents, teachers and anyone whose work depends on being understood:
- Decode emotions and intentions with precision
- Build trust and stronger connections
- Communicate effectively as a teacher, a parent or a professional
- Strengthen public speaking, negotiation and interpersonal skills
Why the certification matters
NLP training is not regulated, so the certificate behind it is what separates a real qualification from a weekend workshop. Ours is issued under a United Kingdom licence and certified by the British Board of NLP, taught by Rabiaa Al Banna, and it sits inside a network of more than 1,500 students. That is what makes the certificate worth showing to a client or an employer.
Where classes run
Classes run at our three branches — Beirut (Mar Elias), the Chouf (Simkanieh) and Choueifat (Saida Old Street) — and as live Zoom groups for students elsewhere in Lebanon or abroad. Same teachers, same materials, same certificate either way.

Is the IUNLP certification internationally recognised?
Yes. Our IUNLP programme is certified by the British Board of NLP in London. Al Khawarizmi Institute has held the licence to teach new-generation NLP since late 2021.
Do I need a background in psychology to join?
No. The course is built for people who want to use the techniques on themselves and with others — parents, teachers, professionals and anyone working on their own confidence and communication.
Do I get to practise before I graduate?
Yes. The programme includes live training sessions with real clients before graduation, so you finish having actually applied the techniques rather than only studied them.
Can I take the NLP or body language course online?
Yes. Both run as live online sessions as well as in-person classes at our branches, and students join from Lebanon and from abroad.
