Business English Course in Lebanon

Most professionals in Lebanon can hold a conversation in English and still lose ground where it counts — a proposal that reads awkwardly, a presentation delivered at half your actual authority, a negotiation conducted in your second language against someone in their first. This course targets exactly that gap.

What the course covers

  • Business writing — clear, concise reports and proposals
  • Email communication — professional emails that land the way you intended, across different business scenarios
  • Presentations — delivering confidently to a room or a call
  • Negotiations — communicating persuasively when the stakes are real
  • Vocabulary building — the business-specific language your sector actually uses

Who it is for

Professionals, managers and teams who work in English with clients, suppliers or head offices abroad. It assumes you already have a working level — if you are earlier than that, start with our General and Academic English course and move here afterwards.

For companies

We have trained organisations as well as individuals since 2011. If you are booking for a team, tell us the size of the group and the specific problem you want solved — reporting, client email, or presenting to international partners — and we will shape the course around it.

Where classes run

Classes run at our three branches — Beirut (Mar Elias), the Chouf (Simkanieh) and Choueifat (Saida Old Street) — and as live Zoom groups for students elsewhere in Lebanon or abroad. Same teachers, same materials, same certificate either way.

Frequently asked questions

Who is the Business English course for?

Working professionals who already function in English but want to write, present and negotiate in it with confidence — not beginners. If you are starting earlier than that, begin with our General English course.

Can my company book this for a team?

Yes. Al Khawarizmi Institute has delivered English training to organisations as well as individuals since 2011. Message us with your team size and what you need it to fix.

Can the course run online?

Yes. It runs as live Zoom sessions as well as in person at our branches, which is usually easier to fit around a working week.

How long is the course?

It depends on your starting level and which areas you need most — writing, presenting or negotiating. We assess first, then propose a plan.
