The Practitioner is the first level and the Master Practitioner is the second. Practitioner is about 40 hours as a reference, has no prerequisites, and is open to anyone. Master Practitioner requires the earlier training and certification. If you have not done NLP training before, you start with Practitioner. If you already hold the Practitioner certificate, Master Practitioner is the next step.

The two levels in plain words
At Al Khawarizmi Institute NLP is taught as two levels, each its own course. The levels are sequential, so the decision is rarely “which one is better” and more often “where am I in the sequence, and what do I want from it”.
- Practitioner: the first course. About 40 hours is the reference figure. There are no prerequisites.
- Master Practitioner: the second course. It requires the earlier training and certification before you join.
Who the Practitioner course is for
There is no entry requirement, so the course is open to students, teachers, parents, managers, coaches and anyone interested. The course includes live practice with other people, so come ready to take part.
- Students and parents are welcome.
- Teachers, who can use it in their teaching.
- Managers, who can use it in leadership.
- Coaches, and anyone who sees NLP coaching as a future path.
- Anyone interested who wants to start with the first level.
Who the Master Practitioner course is for
Master Practitioner is for graduates of the earlier training who hold the certificate. It requires that earlier training and certification, so it is not a course you can join directly.
If you are unsure whether your earlier training counts, do not guess. Tell us where and when you trained and what certificate you received, and ask us whether you can join Master Practitioner.
What “live practice” means
NLP is a practical skill. In our courses, live client practice means practising each technique on a real person, in pairs, with one student acting as the practitioner and the other as the client. The trainer guides the practice and gives feedback.
Because practice is part of the course, ask about the schedule before you commit, and ask what happens if you must miss a session.
Language, format and cohorts
- Languages: NLP is taught in Arabic and in English. Tell us which you prefer when you enquire.
- Cohorts: cohorts open according to the training schedule and demand, so there is no fixed start date to announce. Ask us which cohort is next.
- Location: classes run at our main branch in Simkanieh in the Chouf, and most of our courses are available live online on Zoom. Ask us whether NLP is available online.
What graduates use NLP for
Graduates use it in their existing work, in teaching, leadership and training, or as a path into NLP coaching. That is a useful test for your own decision. Ask yourself where you would use it in the next three months. If the answer is “in my classroom”, “with my team” or “with my clients”, the course has an obvious home in your life. If the answer is vague, talk to us first.
Certificates
Graduates receive NLP certificates, and the certificates are recognised outside Lebanon. That matters if you plan to work or coach abroad or with international clients. We do not make claims here about specific bodies or about what a certificate allows you to do professionally, because that depends on where you practise. Ask us what the certificate states, then check with whoever you want to show it to.
How to decide between the two levels
- No NLP training yet? Start with Practitioner. There is nothing to wait for.
- Trained and certified before? Ask about Master Practitioner, and bring your certificate details.
- Want it for a team at work? See corporate training. We build courses for a specific workplace need, so describe what your team needs.
- Looking for Body Language? It is a separate course from NLP.
What to send us when you enquire
A short message is enough, and it saves back-and-forth. Tell us four things: which level you want, whether you prefer Arabic or English, whether you have done any NLP training before and what certificate you received, and what you hope to use NLP for. If you are enquiring for a group at work, say so, because corporate training can include courses built for a specific workplace need. Then ask for the next cohort and its schedule. Cohorts open according to the training schedule and demand, so the answer depends on the moment you ask.
Questions to ask before you enrol
- What is the schedule of the next cohort, and how many sessions are practice sessions?
- Is the cohort in Arabic or English, and can I choose?
- What does the certificate state, and when is it issued?
- If I miss a session, can I make it up?
