How to Register for the Digital SAT From Lebanon

You register for the digital SAT online, through your College Board account, and you choose your test centre during registration. You need a photo and a form of payment ready, the fee for students testing outside the United States is $111 on the College Board’s fee page, and the next date still open is 5 December 2026 (register by 20 November). Everything on this page about College Board rules comes from satsuite.collegeboard.org, read on 1 November 2026. Check it again before you pay, because dates and fees change.

Where and when can I sit the SAT in Lebanon?

You sit it at a test centre, not at the institute. The next dates are 5 December 2026, 6 March, 1 May and 5 June 2027. To see which centres in Lebanon offer your date, use the College Board’s test centre search. We do not list centres here, because availability changes from one date to the next.

Can a student in Lebanon get an SAT fee waiver?

Usually not. The College Board says that students attending school outside the country must also be U.S. citizens to be eligible, and the waiver is for low-income students in 11th or 12th grade.

Step 1: make your College Board account

The College Board says you register for the SAT from your College Board account, through My SAT. Create the account with your name exactly as it appears on the passport you will use on test day. This matters later, because the name on your ID must exactly match the name on your admission ticket. If you need to change the name after registering, the College Board says to contact Customer Service at least 30 days before your test date.

Step 2: have a photo and a payment method ready

The registration page tells you to make sure you have a photo and a form of payment before you start. The photo has its own requirements, set out on the College Board site, so read them before you start.

Step 3: choose a date

The College Board states that its dates apply to all students, United States and international (dates and deadlines). Dates listed for the 2026 to 2027 year:

  • 5 December 2026: register by 20 November; late until 24 November.
  • 6 March 2027: register by 19 February; late until 23 February.
  • 1 May 2027: register by 16 April; late until 20 April.
  • 5 June 2027: register by 21 May; late until 25 May.

Late registration is available worldwide for an extra fee. Count backwards from the date that your university or scholarship deadline requires, and leave room for a second attempt.

Step 4: find a test centre in Lebanon

Use the College Board’s test centre search, which describes itself as a way to find places that offer the SAT, and check its page on test centre closings before you choose. You pick a specific location while you register. We cannot tell you from here which centres are open on which date, and the College Board pages we read do not list Lebanese centres, so look at the live search for your date.

The SAT is not hosted at Al Khawarizmi Institute. Our team helps you register online.

Step 5: pay the fees

The College Board’s international fee page (fees) lists the SAT registration fee at $68 plus a $43 international fee, $111 in total. The same page lists these other charges, valid through June 2027:

  • Late registration: $38.
  • Changing your test centre: $34.
  • Cancelling before the change deadline: $34, and after it: $44.
  • Test centre fee: $24, but only at select locations. The page names Hong Kong, Macau, Singapore, South Korea and Taiwan, and does not list Lebanon.
  • Additional score reports: $15 each, with the first four free if ordered within nine days of the test date.

These are College Board charges, not institute fees.

Step 6: the ID you must bring

The College Board’s ID page (ID requirements) says the ID must be a valid, unexpired, original photo ID, not a photocopy or a digital ID, in good condition with legible English text and a clearly visible photo. Your full legal name must exactly match your admission ticket. For students testing abroad, the page states that a valid passport is required (the exception it names is a U.S. military Common Access Card). It lists Ghana, Hong Kong, Nepal, Nigeria, India, Pakistan and a group of other countries with their own rules, and does not list Lebanon, so the passport rule is the one that applies. Birth certificates, credit or debit cards, employee IDs and temporary IDs are listed as unacceptable.

Step 7: Bluebook and your admission ticket

The SAT is taken in the College Board’s Bluebook app on a device. On its list of what to bring, the College Board asks for:

  • A fully charged device with Bluebook installed and exam setup finished.
  • Your admission ticket. A printed copy is preferred, and tickets become available five days before the test.
  • Your physical photo ID.
  • Pencils or pens for scratch work, and your College Board username and password.
  • An acceptable calculator for the Math section. Bluebook also includes an embedded calculator that switches between scientific and graphing modes.

The College Board says to open Bluebook between one and five days before the test, sign in, and complete exam setup. After that you can print your ticket or email it to yourself. Do this early. A device problem discovered on the morning of the test is hard to fix. A watch without an audible alarm, a charger and a snack are listed as optional items.

What we do, and what we do not

Al Khawarizmi Institute is a preparation centre, not a test centre. Our team helps students register online, and we prepare them for the exam: the SAT preparation course covers the whole syllabus of both sections, Reading and Writing, and Math. We also run crash courses for students with an exam soon. If you are not sure the SAT is your exam, read SAT or ACT: which should you sit?. If you are applying to Lebanese universities, see how they treat SAT scores in The EEE in Lebanon. Classes run at our main branch in Simkanieh and live on Zoom: see online courses.
